What led you to do what you do?
Diagnosed with ADHD and depression back in 2004, and it was my best friend who turned out to be a hypnotherapist that helped me clear my depression and manage ADHD. Inspired by this, I then trained as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, successfully helping people with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I was then drawn to specialise in ADHD hypnotherapy/coaching which is my passion and specialism.
What’s the best thing about doing the work you do?
The best thing about what I do is getting to watch people transform. Sometimes it can be small changes but for them those changes are big. For others its like a whole “life makeover” and I am never failed with amazement at what is possible when someone is motivated and receives the help they require.
Back in 2004 if you told me I could be doing what I do today and be free of depression and turn my ADHD into a positive, I would have wanted to believe you, but overwhelmed with doubt and fear. Today, I am living exactly that and showing others how, just as my friend and teacher taught me. When you know how, and get the help you need, anything is possible. And that realisation is so fulfilling and empowering!
